Case Park Playground in Kansas City is a small but charming neighborhood park known for its sweeping views and shady setting. The playground isn’t especially large or toddler-friendly, but it sits beneath a canopy of mature oak and sycamore trees that provide great natural shade. A standout feature is the unique climbing structure—like a mix between monkey bars and a forest canopy—that’s perfect for adventurous kids. There are benches near the equipment and several picnic tables nearby with open grassy areas for spreading out. Though the park has no restrooms or fencing, it’s cleanish and connected to the Riverfront Heritage Trail, making it a great stop on a longer walk. One of the biggest draws is the scenic overlook: just a short walk from the playground, it offers one of the best views in KC, including Kaw Point where the Missouri and Kansas Rivers meet. River Market is only a few blocks away, with plenty of nearby coffee and food options.
